Increased services for immigrants in Reykjavik at The Reykjavik City Library at Tryggvagötu 15 Thursdays 14.00 – 16.00
Counsellors from the Human Rights office are now offering counselling for immigrants in Reykjavik at the library from 14:00-16:00.
The counsellors give information about the city‘s services, general advice and information about the rights and obligations of immigrants in Icelandic society, family issues, work related problems, residence permits and Icelandic citizenship, to name a few.
The counsellors providing this service speak Icelandic, English, Polish, Filipino, Lithuanian and Russian. Interpreters are provided for speakers of other languages.
The counselling is free of charge and employees are bound by confidentiality.
While you are at the library take the time to explore all the other services on offer, such as books in many languages, a wide range of magazines, music, movies, internet access and much more.
