Authorisation

A foreigner may authorise a person in Iceland to act on his behalf as an agent with respect to an appeal of his application.

The agent must have an original written authorisation, witnessed by two persons as to the authenticity of the foreigner´s signature, date and place of the authorisation.

A written authorisation is also required if a host asks for any information concerning the applicant and the process of the application.
